I technically qualify for a booster since I work at a university

Mainly just a scheduling thing. End of October/Early November might be the time to get it tho. Be safe for Thanksgiving and Christmas season.

S*** I took a trip to Florida last month and came out unscathed because I was mad careful

Got stuck in an indoor line for the Star Wars ride and was a little shook because we were cramped but it was all good lmao

Got me new test results covid is officially out of my system. Still experiencing fatigue and a little shortness of breath but doctors say it may take a month for me to feel normal again.

Was a terrible experience definitely would not recommend

Glad that it seems like the White House is going to follow through on the vaccine mandate.

At the end of the day it’s the government’s responsibility to protect its people and we can’t allow people whose minds are operating outside of reality dictate our economy and workplaces.

We don’t have to respect everyone’s opinion when certain people’s opinions are informed by made-up facts and out right lies. That’d be like construction workers working without hard hats because some of them believe hats don’t cover their head despite all variable evidence. Those dumb mfs don’t get to put everybody else at risk.

Stick a needle in those mfs or let go job less. It’s up to them.

By this logic shouldn’t health care be free , better housing and access to food ?

Testing nurses daily makes sense but firing nurses in a nurse deficit when they overworked and you spent last year calling them before calling them heroes comes across as dumb

By this logic, no. That’s a totally separate issue.

Should healthcare, better housing, and food be free? Yes, of course.

The point I’m making is that of course it’s everybody’s right to choose whether to take the vaccine or not. But it’s not their right to continue to spread a deadly disease and cripple the economy when there is an easy and readily available cure for every American.

Nurses also work in hospitals next immunocompromised, and elderly people who are extremely susceptible to the coronavirus.

Again, it’s not their right to kill people because they saw a Despicable Me minion meme on Facebook that told them there’s a microchip in the vaccine.

I just said daily testing would be better than firing people you need

So is it a choice to take the vaccine or not many people are in work places with less than 100 people on site especially since many still remote . So I’m confused on your point

everybody on my ig feed tripping over the healthcare worker s*** but like....they have the most contact with the population that's at the biggest risk.

I'm tearing the whole block up if my grandpa got infected because some worker decided to be a conspiracy theorist lol.

they would've b****ed about that too. Daily testing also doesn't really help when covid (which is what has made covid really a b****) can be dormant for 2 weeks lol.

If hospitals are over run and there is a nursing shortage just thinking nurses can be replaced by national guard who aren’t trained to be nurses may cost more lives than having unvaccinated nurses

@ShintaroKago I'm also of the opinion that this s*** didn't even have to get this bad.

The dems and the repubs wasted all of our f***ing time these last 2 years instead of actually giving a s*** about the people.

Choosing to work is a choice.

Mf I gotta take a d*** test every time I get a new job even though it’s MY GOD DAMN AMERICAN RIGHT TO LIGHT UP THIS DAMN REEFER AND GO STRAIGHT TO THE MOON. It’s still a requirement for many well paying jobs and I choose to comply with that rule even though I don’t agree with it, because I understand the purpose behind it and I need that money.

It’s still a choice to take the vaccine or not, but you’re also choosing whether to take part in society or not. This is a deadly disease, so it’s nobody’s right to willingly spread it in the workplace. That’d be like walking into your place of work with a loaded weapon and point it at mfs and saying “but it’s my right.”

Like should the nurses get vaccinated? Yes but there hasn’t been any part of Biden’s plan that’s been remarkable

Yes. His plan is better that conservative alternative which is let more people die, tank the economy, let people starve, and legitimize Facebook memes in contrast to proven, peer reviewed scientific research and data because…. Uh… it’s my right.
