I wasn’t vaccinated all last year was living on friends couches , interviewing homeless , covering crime in Chicago / reporting . Unvaccinated. Had to work a minimum wage job unvaccinated. Even when I get vaccinated ( more out of guilt then wanting it ) I’m still gonna wear mask and everything else . Even when this “ all ends “ . Do I care if people see my face at the grocery store ?

I believe vaccines use pig stem cells or something. Which could be a religious exemption from many. There are many reasons for religious exemption actually that are consistent in terms of just "no body manipulation". If They have adhered to that their whole life why make them change for this honestly and the places that require vaccination often just say "we don't accept religious exemption its just the rules". I can't disrespect someone who has lived like that whole life

Why the f*** they just say " a booster shot is not FDA approved for anyone other than at risk population" , Fauci "soon those without booster will basically be unvaccinated" and Biden "I want everyone to get a booster" all within a couple months combined with "soon child approved". When again some of us lol I cant speak for all unvaccinated but some of us just want "okay this is the 5 year plan we need this many to get vaccinated, you will have to do it every 6 months or yearly going forward(or you won't), you will gain access to everywhere you want to go, Travel will work like this" etc.

they didn’t even get sick but they never tested so who knows. They were unvaccinated though and somehow miraculously my half vaxxed mom didn’t catch it from me. It’s possible I got it somewhere else because I work with the public but it seems too coincidental.

should also mention I lived in a hot spot area where the positivity rate was higher than 30%. The odds go up drastically from that vaccinated or not.

I wish after getting vaccinated that I didn't have to see or here about the topic for the rest of my life I am tired of both sides making it their entire identity honestly. Wish immunity and things were being tested for all so we could get the most accurate data possible.

I just have problem with peoples religious beliefs (which I have trouble believing are genuine 100% of the time they are invoked) putting other peoples’s lives in danger.

Not getting their kids vaccinated against things like measles and polio for these reasons is just ridiculous. I’m sorry but there’s a line where I draw upon which religion should have an impact in our world.

yeah s*** sucked, but I knew with delta and the area that i’m in that the odds were increasing for me and that everyone around me was getting sick at work and even though they weren’t vaccinated I still felt like it was a sooner than later type deal. I’m happy that my at risk parent didn’t get sick though I knew I’d likely be okay. only lingering effect on me is that my smell is weird at times especially after going outside. idk why.

and hang in there I think after the holidays it’s done. we’re at that two year point.
