Got my first dose of Pfizer
It's so surreal, I've been waiting for this day for a year
Getting mine on Monday
Any effects??

Not really, arm just hurts when I move it certain directions and it's feeling a little better today
my dad dumbass called me a "party pooper" bc i called his old ass out for being at a bar with no mask
Did you have covid before? The shots are way worse if you did
Nah I didn’t
Maybe I just have a weak immune system in general I guess lol
Second shot is an ass kicker (for me) boys
Not trying to scare anyone off, but doing my due diligence to follow up
How is it on the 2nd day after?
I think the 2nd day after my 2nd shot is when my work is scheduled to go back to in person :fck:
I literally didn’t feel any side effects from the first Pfizer dose other than a slightly sore arm like a normal flu shot (I didn’t even think about it)
yeah i’ve heard if you’ve had it and just didn’t know it the first shot can mess you up more than the second. also these kind of reactions is just your immune system working. the older you are the less likely the badder reactions cause their immune systems are weaker in general.

Wait what? I thought your immune system gets better the longer you live
Woke up with a slight cold
been coughing like a mf. We supposed to let the job know if we been feeling sick, coughing, sneezing and all that. But I don’t wanna miss days of work for a cold but nowadays you can’t be too sure I suppose
if I didn’t care about people I’d just go in to work like nothing happened

def not lol, if it were that way then we would live long asf

Feeling fine so far. Have a little bit of pain at the injection site but nothing bothersome.

the arm pain gets worse as you go on. i didn’t feel anything til like 4 hours later. And it’s the second dose that will likely f*** you up.
read through these to see what to expect

Good to know
With everything lasting ~2 days from what I’m reading, might need to take the Monday after my second dose off

yeah that might be wise. Maybe let them know you expect to have side effects. there’s also a chance you won’t.

I'm taking a half day at absolute minimum.
3 million doses today
Alaska and New Mexico at 25% partially vaccinated (Alaska 15% full)
dad has covid and he's barely been able to get out of bed for the past few days, how long is it gonna be like this?
