No. Like, there comes a point where you don't get unemployment at ALL once you've been on it long enough. This program extends that time period.

There's a plan going around called the The American Workforce Rescue Act that is based on unemployment percentage. That might pass at the end of the month. Basically if unemployment in your state is above 6% you get an extra $100 a week for each percentage up to 11%. So if your state is at 15% you get $600 and if it's 6% you get $0. $200 if it's at 8%. That kind of s***.

Maybe a middle ground like that will pass. Last I checked, California was over 16% unemployment.
