676 deaths though, equating to a 1.3% CFR. It's incredible how much this figure has decreased, and how steadily, in just two months.

On June 11, we reached a low of 21,416 cases in our 7 day moving average. Within a week, it was up to nearly 25,000 after weeks of stability. On June 19, we reported 33,000 new cases.

If deaths are a lagging factor, we need to start tracking from somewhere around June 16, 2-3 weeks after Memorial Day weekend and the start of the protests. It has been 2 weeks since cases began to increase noticeably and 12 days since s*** got out of hand.

Today, new reported deaths dropped by 18% from last Wednesday.

It's inevitable that deaths will start to creep up, but when, and by how much? It's difficult to project without a solid IFR and precise demographic data. But the continued decline is notable. I think it underscores how sharply the deadliness of this virus increases with age.
