govt predicted 200,000 new cases daily by June 1 due to reopenings
at the time (May 4) we were having about 25000 new cases daily

Italy, Spain, the UK and Belgium all had more deaths per million residents than Sweden so who really took the biggest L?

Look at the unemployement rates these other scandinavian countries will end up having tho as well as the unrest thatll eventually grow in their communities

sound like u the one who has no idea how it's working Italy, Spain and the UK are all way bigger than Sweden. It's false to compare the numbers with bigger countries.
Sweden has 10,094,947 people. The population is f***ing small. They had the most deaths compared to the population about three weeks ago, now it's Belgium (they took a way bigger L here obviously).
The Swedish government now also knows very clearly that they have made mistakes. They have new experts now to assess how well or how badly the pandemic has been overcome for them. Sweden also offers free tests to everyone since this week.
Compare it with the other Scandinavian countries and you can see pretty easily why they took a big L on this.

But it's kinda sad that they said economy > people tbh. Scandinavian countries are rich enough to be able to afford lockdowns.
