So my base started doing this new process during lunch/dinner/breakfast where the workers in the cafeteria have to physically take your ID and write down your number. Before you could just show it to them and tell them the last for or your social.

I think this new process just puts them at extreme risk and personally I’d be complaining if I were them lol. You literally touching 100 people’s ID per day AND they don’t be wearing gloves. The on base security officers at the gate got the free light to not have to physically take people’s ID to inspect them.
