The only way is if it passes in the Senate.
Which is Republican controlled.
Republicans don't want to help anyone but businesses.
We are in the midst of a global pandemic.
It's anyone's guess, but if you think of these 4 factors, you can come to a close judgement.
Personally, I think we'll get more eventually.
If this thing is supposed to ride out until the fall, it only makes sense.
Doomers on here say otherwise tho.

Yeah I feel like the Pubs and Dems will go back and forth for a month or 2 and we’ll probably get a 2nd check by July or August tbh
So only 0.000273% of the US population has died from this. And when you factor in how that’s pretty much just comprised of old people, if you’re under the age of 50 you only have a 0.00000273% chance of dying from it. As far as the world population goes it’s a 0.0000385% chance of dying, and only 0.000000385% if you’re under the age of 50
Not even taking into account the fact that they’re over-counting deaths with ‘probable victims’
I’m not saying we should OPEN ‘ER UP or stop taking precautions or anything, but try to look on the bright side yall. Don’t feed into the “we’re all dying” circus when there’s literally less than a one in a million chance that you actually die from it. It’ll be good for your mental health and might even help your immune system to not focus on the negative all the time
The internet has a tendency to overreact man. Far fewer people would be panicking if we were able to have conversations face to face. In the grand scheme of things this virus isn't that bad and we could have been caught off guard by something, much MUCH worse, like Ebola which had a 50%+ death rate. We're going to be much more prepared even for the second wave, we gucci
56000 tests added in California today and only 2000 came back positive, a grand total of 3.6%.
Also, I don't know where covidtracking gets their hospital data from, but apparently we only have 4291 people in our hospitals now and we had well over 4600 just a week or two ago. This is going on while cases appear to be coming in just as frequently.
Putting the picture together, the new cases coming in are generally milder than the ones we were detecting a month ago. LA County has the capacity to run 75000 tests a week and have been running about 57000 a week, so that excess of 18000 can be stockpiled and help us to be better prepared for a second wave.
US only

Without lockdowns though

Cases coming back mild hopefully signals that the virus is getting weaker
Would be huge. I know Cali has a different strain than the east coast one but still

It's crazy to me that they were able to detect our west coast strain of the virus in Iceland. Of COURSE the virus was here last year, s*** gets around so fast with expanded travel.

Ebola couldn't spread cause of the death rate and method of transmission. Having covid be regular like the flu with no immunity isn't easy to have

That wasn't the best example but my point stands. We're lucky that it's not even more deadly than it is, because we'd have no way of stopping it effectively.
