I already did and so did my 70 yr old grandma. People lost their families, homes, jobs, and more over a virus that is only fatal towards elderly and the immunocompromised

Staying home weakens your immune system. Your body daily (pre corona) is used to encountering bacteria. There are good bacterias, if all we do is stay inside, our body doesn’t encounter these bacterias. We can never build immunity by this. If you have a weakened immune system or are “old” stay home or be extremely cautious.

The death rate is much higher than it actually is, just because a person died who had corona, doesn’t mean it was because corona. There are so many deaths that were comorbidities, but doctors are pressured to label it as “covid.” S***s a scam, people lost everything over a virus. Permanent ramifications over a temporary issue. Literally can't exist because we don't know how many people have been infected, nor do we know exactly how many have died with COVID-19 as the main/sole cause.

It probably is that low for certain subsets of the population and even lower for children. The numbers rise exponentially after 40 and again after 65. To get to the 1% IFR that some have proposed, you have to have an enormous range, from as low as 0.1%, possibly lower, all the way up to 7% or more.

But there's no air tight proof of this across all locations and all variables. And that's hardly the point for anyone arguing to protect the vulnerable. Here's a breakdown of what this argument basically looks like every single time:

"You need to do your part to protect people who can't protect themselves!"

"But what about quality of life? My grandfather is miserable and just wants to live his life."

"Why do you get to play God because you're bored at home?"

"The virus isn't even that deadly!"

"Yes, it is!"

"No, it isn't!"

And on and on and on and on. No wonder the last two months felt like a year.
