I don’t like to wish ill on anyone, but people that can’t follow simple guidelines need a reality check

The US is going to have massive casualties because they're going to open back up prior to when they need to because the economy >>>> people's lives for the people in charge right now

Rollercoaster (aka a cycle of easing restrictions once we're down the slope for some time (epidemiologists estimating the soonest being around late July/early Aug if current social distancing protocols continued to be followed) then ramping them back up/under quarantine once the slope goes up again (Oct/Nov when the second wave begins to hit, which will be the one to really be concerned about), rinse & repeat until the slopes gradually diminish)

  • Apr 23, 2020

But truthfully, this will last longer than originally predicted because, of course, an unfortunate large amount of people within the US are too f***ing stubborn and stupid to stay put longer than a few weeks

of course the lockdown will not remain as strict as now, but we will have to live with rules until a vaccine is there

i think during the summer time it wont be so strict, everything beyond that will be the same as we have right now

Just conservatives in general care about the economy and the value of the dollar right now. that's about it. It's antisocialism

Damn one of my mom's friends who lives around the corner seems to have it. They cancelled her test at her Dr.'s office because she's undocumented and the hospital won't test unless you can't breathe.

Her daughter is one of 60 people who got sick at a local meat processing plant... They live next to each other, she watches her kids. Highly doubtful it's a coincidence.

I love living here but if these old Republican CACs continue being in charge of important s***, I'm seriously going to consider moving to a diff country by my mid 30s. These stubborn ass, always-gotta-be-right ass know-it-all f***s have proven beyond a reasonable doubt that they cannot be trusted to look out for the interests of fellow people when/if another national emergency happens.

how the f*** are they refusing to test people???

its an absolute joke. not every single person shows every symptom. if one of my parents got sick and they refused to test them id tell them im not leaving that hospital until we get a test kit. and they still refuse I'll go to every news agency in the state and tell them that hospital is refusing to test sick people

the cases are stable so far, so it's not really slowing down but it's not increasing highly at the moment but new york has 1,000 more new cases than yesterday and new jersey around 700 cases more today.

it's difficult to say which trend we will go because the test capacities are limited. we need to test way more people every day to be able to say something exactly about this

    Like in every other country

Because they probably don't have many tests or something smh.

Now I know that s*** is right around the corner
