“defeated” is incorrect language as well, the virus wont be defeated, vaccine and testing is the only solution to get us back to as normal of a life as possible

  • Apr 22, 2020
    hey man relax

if you think china really defeated it then idk what to tell you lmao

theyre not even reporting their numbers unless you think they just magically decided to stop lying about them after april 2nd

by defeat i dont mean its gone for good. i dont believe their numbers, but i believe that theyve got it under control now

in which world is this over in sweden? mortality rate is f***ing high there and they test crappy

Also, for Sweden it's easier. They have the big cities with a high density of people. Thats where most die too

Its easier for them to control cause of their (human) geography basically. Also if you compare them to the other Scandinavian countries, they actually have a lot more deaths and cases. Those countries really controlled it well. Norway did an outstanding job and is opening back up again

how can you open a school at half capacity?

Split the classes in 2 so there can be a bigger distance between them and the teachers, one day this group goes to school, another day the other group.
That way school wont be packed. It's just an experiment tho

so you're saying that sweden is controlling it well? finland and norway doing a great job, probably the best job so far from all countries

testing is and will be a big problem, some countries already testing less because they don't have enough capacity

so right now most schools are doing 4 day a week online classes through a medium like Zoom, the plan you speak of has students attending school 2-3 times a week, and in-person, obviously putting all of them at a higher risk of getting the virus and passing it on at a quicker rate

where is the logic in this

I'm saying for them its easier to stay open, compared to other countries in the world, and still have a relatively low amount of cases and deaths.

If you compare them to their Scandinavian brothers, who did go in some sort of lockdown, you see the real difference tho

    Idk man ask our virologists

They say they dont see much children getting or spreading it, so that's the reason they decided this. That they dont fully open primary school says enough to me tho

it will be like that everywhere in the world. it's that or riots because people have no money and mental health starts deteriorating.

we have to count on people keeping social distancing and hygiene practices.
