They are opening up everything in Georgia by Monday. On one hand I can get a haircut. On the other hand this is a very bad idea.

If you die, you'll die looking fresh

Ngl, not a bad way to go out

Y’all goin outside if y’all want. Georgia the worst state to open especially here in Atlanta. I know Fulton country alone got over 2k confirmed cases.

Santa Clara’s antibody tests were wildly inaccurate

A study has already been done about it. Antibody testing at the moment is a total joke.

Oh, OK. Good to know that one study in one location is enough to write off an entire methodology.

    Back to talking about Trump.

It’s not just from one location. China, Italy and SK all experienced it go look it up

And I never said write off the entire methodology..??? We obviously need more accurate tests especially testing this important.

Reading thru twitter seeing conservatives jerk themselves off over these antibody test results is so embarrassing

Even if they are accurate(they aren’t) yea the fatality rate is lower but that means the R0 is wayyyy higher than we think which makes it one of the most contagious viruses we’ve ever faced

I don't want to "look it up." I looked up what I posted, contributed a link, and you came with a dismissal of the LA study without citing a source or even a specific reason for why antibody studies aren't useful. It's not my job to do my homework and yours.

This is why there's so much misinformation all over the place. If you at least post sources, you can see if the source is reliable.

All jokes aside, I honestly can’t believe what I’m seeing here. I’m literally watching our country descend into idiocy in a way I once thought was only possible in movies. This is as big of a wake up call as I’ve ever witnessed in my lifetime. The Blatancy of it all is just startling lmao I don’t know how any American citizen in their right mind could be ok with this right now

    I’m not surprised at all

Not exactly a reason not to test or take the process seriously though...I'm sure we'll find out the answer to that soon enough.

The scientific method doesn't start with all the info that we illustrate perfectly on the first try and that's it. We have to slog through a lot of failed attempts on the way to something that can be replicated over and over. The early attempts help us to come up with better hypotheses that lead to more precise results.

The protests are getting overblown online by Trump stans and bots to make them sound more well attended and significant than they actually are.

Most of the protests are like a dozen stupid hicks and soccer moms standing around a truck with a Confederate flag decal. Who gives a f*** what they're doing?

Since it takes 10-14 days to really notice changes like that, I'm betting about 3 weeks. 2 weeks for the results and another week of denial.

It's a bit of a relief that for once Alabama isn't the state horribly f***ing things up. But I really worry for Georgia, especially Atlanta if they open things up

If shutting down a month earlier could have saved tens of thousands of lives, staying closed an extra month could also save thousands.

It's way too early. Talk about this s*** in a month.
