also I live in Illinois which is not a good spot for jobs. I was determined to move to Texas but at this point with what’s going on I have become lazy and just lost all motivation to move miles away Yeah I'm not getting my hopes up but will try my best. I was also thinking about Texas for a min, I heard a lot of good things about Austin but I have to do my research further before I even consider moving. There's more opportunities here in NY, but the cost of living is only rising and the price of decent apartments is crazy. Forget about buying any property here unless you make a bank.

LA isn't all outdoors like some counties though, just businesses. You have to wear a mask shopping, but not if you're outside with your dog or whatever.
Riverside and Beverly Hills you have to have them on 100% of the time if you leave your house

I actually hate Austin! I was thinking Houston! When I was in my late teens I lived in Dallas for two years and it was fun but I wanna see how Houston is!

I heard it's great for young people and their economy is doing good. Heard Houston is not all that regarding job market and just in general, although that was on my list before Austin. How was the atmosphere in Dallas?

Dallas was so diverse! Everyone was super nice! I got into a couple fights on the ball court but I was immature and so were they!
But the burbs were boring af and I heard downtown Dallas isn’t any fun either

I got my bachelors in business administration in 2015 at the age of 21 and worked doing sales, front desk clerk at a hotel, and then an assistant manager all in the span of 3 long years
If you wanna move up get your mba or a masters in something else
Businesses admin is a useless major. I learned the hard way my dude
Or just do internships to get experience. I majored in a super useless major (anthropology) and have been able to land internships at top tech companies because I did 6 internships while o was in college

Your degree is in Business Admin/management with a concentration in MIS or is your degree Information Systems? Big difference

I have just realized it’s all about connections and who you know. Experience doesn’t even matter
The bank manager at my bank has a f***ing hs diploma and got that position cause his uncle had a really high position at the bank and had been working there for 20+ years
Also for me I became a hotel a manger literally within a month cause the owner of the hotel was really good friends with my dad. I had literally no experience and became a manager real quick
It’s all about who you know man

Down town Houston is way more popping! Like it’s really good for people between 21 to 35! But I keep hearing traffic is horrible! But again I live in the burbs of Chicago and downtown is technically 40 mins away but with traffic it takes 2 hrs sometimes, so I’m not gonna really worry too much about traffic. I honestly hear Dallas is a better city for more job opportunities and family but Houston is definitely more fun! Houston also has jobs tho! My cousin lives in the suburbs of Dallas. Dude is mad weird. I just feel like 2 years was enough for me to experience Dallas and now I wanna see how Houston is. It’s really just a personal preference

I heard Houston is the best for asian, indian, and Mexican food. I have literally heard this by tons of f***ing people. Visited Houston twice when I lived in Dallas and didn’t care for it much but again I was like 19 and at that time I was in college so I didn’t care about location
