i hate to say it, but i think everything will return to normal in the US by may. Will the flu and cases go away? Probably not, but im almost 100% sure that the lockdowns/social distancing will be completely gone by mid may
Normal would be the incorrect term. Thousands of people will still fear leaving their homes.
talk of lockdown being relaxed in a few places, including here in the UK, makes me nervous as hell. i'd probably continue working from home for some months after, would be a ludicrous decision
Why don’t u guys realize there’s more to life than your job or social life. Same with peoples addiction to sports. Learn something or read a damn book lol be thankful you don’t have a family to take care of
F*** that man
I need to be out with people. I feel so f***ing isolated. I need to be in the office w my colleagues. I wanna go to bars w friends.
I can read a book before I go to bed, but I have to work remote all day which is so depressing. And I can’t do anything but go for runs outside by myself.
F*** anyone that says just suck it up. Some people are dealing with violence at home, domestic abuse, large families that are in small households. Say that to those people

Real. People think everything is simple and don’t like to factor in those that are going through things.

be f***ing happy that this s*** isn't as worse as the spanish flu lmao "i need to be out with people" smh its only for a couple of weeks, not for months and years
its actually so sad that people have nothing creative to do at home
Man this s*** is boring. I have creative stuff to do (and school), but it still sucks being stuck inside
I wouldn’t call it “back to normal”
That’s a bit drastic, but they’re going to start letting off some restrictions. They’ll probably let the free market decide on how to continue. Restaraunts cautiously open up, offices start letting groups of people back, etc
Yeah people will be scared, but I people need to socialize.
So that is not back to normal
They will ease up on some restrictions, because people can't afford this for many more months
Restaurants probably will be able to have certain capacity, but need further spacing between customers. Maybe check temperatures?
Offices will probably make you come in with masks, try to keep some space between people, maybe some work days at home?
But a lot of social things, like bars/clubs, concerts, sport events etc will not be open (state to state ofc)
We will see a huge spike quickly after and then lets see what happens.
We are going to hit over 2500 deaths in the US in the last 24 hours for basically 2 days in a row, not even sure if we peaked yet.
It could be higher in theory if we open up even with some restrictions

true, it sucks but some people in here have serious mental issues and thats not even funny. imagine this s*** would be like the spanish flu and they would act like this
i'm still going out by myself ALONE for a walk and that's good, everybody should do this if they are able to

But are you dealing with all those issues? If not stop tying it in with your reasoning to wanting to not be isolated

What about call center jobs? (Asking cus I work at a call center)
Honestly might request to work from home if for some reason we gotta go back too soon

realest one in this thread and i see only facts
Imagine being pretentious about being well adapted to not leaving the house
💁🏼♀️
If you are someone who is dealing with actual depression, abuse, illness, real type of issues then obviously I feel bad and know it sucks.
But if you are perfectly healthy, in a decent enough home and have food but simply just b****ing out of being bored and not being able to party then i don’t wanna hear it, spend this time working on gratuity
Someone said “y’all acting pretentious about not leaving home” nah some of y’all showing ya true colors of how some of y’all wouldn’t last a day in a jail cell yet y’all be talking that “I wouldn’t snitch like 69” bullshit
