Like, can people not understand the ramifications of this s***? You could f***ing DIE. ALONE. Hooked up to a ventilator with no one around to comfort you, knowing that your family won’t even be able to hold a funeral. How can people just ignore that fact?
Hell, you could die not knowing that you got other members of your family, or your friends sick and that they in turn died.
Put some f***ing logic and reasoning behind your thoughts and forecasts rather than just impulsiveness and raw emotion.

MCNthere's no incentive at all. most will ride unemployment as long as they can and create a major staff shortage in places like the retail and service industries once things begin to reopen.
in 09 they extended the benefit period an extra two years beyond the standard 6 months. they're already pushing to extend the extra $600 program from 4 months to 6 months. there's literally no reason to want to really look for work during that time unless you made more than like 80k.
Your right I'm making more now and im sitting on my ass. I use to commute so much and that was such a big expense for me. Now I'm not doing that so I'm definitely making more now.

Dude same here, I’m saving so much right now because I don’t commute and my student loan is postponed till the fall. But tbh I’m starting to get tired of this and would rather work and be busy. It’s low key taking a toll on my mental health.

in theory employers are supposed to crackdown on people gaming the unemployment system and overstaying their benefits but everything will be so overwhelmed that policing it will be next to impossible

Because that's the life we chose. I didn't get good at what I do to not do it. I got good at what I do so I can do it everyday and get paid for it because it makes me feel good. I don't like reading. I like working.
