I think in the end, they'll give us a way through hard times, whoever it is. They're probably gonna give even better stipends to people that have to work thru this and make people on unemployment jealous that they didn't stay working.

Like people making six figures already getting taken care of by their employer whether they had to be laid off or are working from home. I can't imagine what demographic of people this shutdown is actually affecting except owners of corporations who are seeing their daily sales break record lows?

The only way I see this as an issue is if your unemployment is still way less than your original wage.... Which 30k-50k a year is enough for most single people (which is essentially what unemployment gives).

I feel like if you work a job making 60k or more a year, they've more than likely made a way for you to work from home. If not, they set you up with severance.

I just don't understand this whole notion of getting back to work by any means necessary?
