So NYC will run out of ventilators in 5 days

After that deaths will skyrocket exponentially, the apex of the virus for NY won't come till mid April for NYC

Donnelly also said the time frame of 18 months to two years is in line with other credible models about the pandemic, which account for the possibility of secondary or tertiary waves.

So we about to be out here covering our faces for about two years
    .

This definitely going to change the social perception of wearing face coverings

Could anything actually happen in the next few months that would make reopening businesses and reincorporating social interaction possible and in turn safe?

depends on what ‘a few months’ is, but id personally say no, it would be dumb, look at china

maybe if countries slowly open more businesses but still keep the rules in place (distance etc) and maybe everyone wears masks too and tests get done more often

otherwise if we just randomly open again a second wave will HIT

A friend called me the other day (we did not spoke for a few weeks) and said bla bla this coronavirus and that he is driving to his parents rn because the family is having a party for his 15 yo brother plus he said that he has the house of his parents in july and I should come over then he is throwing a big party. This guy really turned 30 yo this year.

Am I a bad person if I think I don’t want to be friends with him any more?

    F*** no

It was my fathers birthday last weekend and I told him and my sister I wasn’t going. My parents damn sure ain’t gonna get this s*** from me.

Because they changed the way they count cases (added nursing home cases for exemple)
