The amount of polling sites they closed early in predominantly bernie heavy areas was unreal. A lot of people showed up and had to leave because the line was too big (lack of voting booths) and they closed a lot of them earlier than in other spots. Predominantly latino neighbourhoods (big bernie support) had fewer polling stations than other neighbourhoods based on pop ratio.

Never take the medias word on this s*** they been tryna sabotage his s*** from day one. Yup had a friend try to make this voting suppression argument which I agree with to a certain extent (I do agree voters are being suppressed) but let me ask you this

Are 18-29 year olds too cool for mail in ballots? Or is it cooler to wait in line so you can get the sticker and show off?

Additionally even if let’s say were aware that voting suppression is real and it’s up to us (I’m 22) to combat it

Why would you go out of your way to vote?

Pretty sure there are voting rights laws in every state protecting students and workers from discipline if they’re late to class or work due to voting

I’m registered to vote in KS so my primaries weren’t until May but I already had established what I was going to do on that day because voting is a priority of mine. I can’t say the same for others

most countries make it pretty easy as they have 1 source - usually a direct government website

but if you look at a USA breakdown for example worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us it has many for certain states

UK on the other hand comes from gov.uk or bbc.co.uk on most days

I think that boils down to procrastination. I know most people my age myself included wouldn't be thinking ahead about a vote like that.

I don't know if, without a lack of voter suppression Bernie would have won, but I do know that it at the very least would have been a lot closer. Boomers have all the time in the world to wait to vote, young people got work and school.
