i agree to a level but i hope doctors/nurses did sign up for their profession to help people in some way and knew the risks/expectations of their field whereas an hourly wage worker stocking produce or ringing up customers certainly didn't

plus i feel like most nurses/doctors must be getting some form of hazard pay though i haven't really looked into that much
