We have a lot of ignorant, entitled and illogical people in Quebec. Like there's a party that its main goal has always been separating from Canada which would just f*** us over like brexit did in the UK

Also there's this obsession with French by a minority. Like nobody ever listens to French music but the government order radio stations that at least 40% of the music they play must be French and at least half of that must be at peak times

Also we had our lil Trump-esque fad where a crazy pro-French b**** was elected but she was so crazy that we actually got rid of her before she could even finish her term
She was trying to change every store's name to French even when there wasn't a French translation

We just have a lot of stupidity but if you stay in the city it's pretty cool actually. Just don't go in the ignorant suburbs

Seems pretty likely the wife is losing her job next week or soon thereafter. My state is offering $4200 a month until August with the new unemployment expansion, plus we have a $2900 stimulus check coming, so we should be alright for the next four months. I'm also picking up online teaching hours to cover my personal bills (car payment, credit cards).
