    Every time I get a little annoyed at this virus I stop and think about the ppl going through insanely more difficult situations than myself

    There are families who have lost a lot, and who couldn’t even be with their loved ones before they passed, it’s just miserable to think about really. I’ve been following this thing nonstop but it’s time to stop for a bit and keep my mind on other things

    Please be safe everyone, and remember think about your elders first

    Pretty lame about the child support s***, but there could easily be dads out there who make plenty of money who are just like 'fuck it' and dodge the system.

    Much like my dad did when I didn't meet him til I was 5-6.
    At the same time tho, these stipulations are just so they don't have to give people money that they need and that's dumb as s***.

    Unemployment seems like a much better route anyways with that 600 dollar stimulus every week

    The problem is that you can't just get on unemployment whenever you wish. Meanwhile right now not only that group of people need help but everybody that isn't rich.

    Does the 600 dollar stimulus reflect on ur unemployment account or how does it work? Cuz I still see my normal unemployment wage without the 600 dollars.

    Or is it going into effect soon?

    It wasn't signed by Trump yet last time I checked which was yesterday and since this is the weekend, don't expect it until the next check at the very least.

    every situation is diffrent and it’s childish to just reduce the argument to “just pull out bro “ like two people aren’t responsible you probably aren’t aware most people are paying child support to kids that are already grown . Life happens especially in black communities when you aren’t afforded the luxury of having a solid foundation

    Nothing i gotta say is gonna help financially, make u feel better or give hope.
    (If it was a lay off or something, you would get unemployment... And im not american, but if u were making attempts at paying ur child support, even if it wasnt in full, u could probably fight for eligibility)

    But ill say this, these next couple months prolly gonna be tough. Learn and grow from it dude.

    Too many men and women dont wanna take responsibility for their actions these days. I dont feel bad for these drama fiends at all. Too many separated parents use their kids as tools to play games with each other.

    Nobody knows rn, but theres p good odds that ppl at least attempting to make their payments and can prove it, could bring this up to a social worker and have some strings pulled.

    In 9/10 cases, these ppl not paying their child support, dont deserve for the gov to ensure their financial security. I dont see the issue.
