So I just had a thought about all the people who are dying.

If Trump does in fact attempt to reopen the country and most red state governors go along with it, that pretty much guarantees hundreds of thousands, if not possibly millions, of deaths.

Which means, those people’s families will want to hold funerals, but of course you can’t have a funeral in the middle of a pandemic, meaning that funerals are likely not going to be held until after this all over.

Meaning hundreds of thousands (or millions) of funerals will be essentially queued up, which could mean that families will literally be put on waiting lists in order to process all of them.

    Jesus Christ.

My mom works in a hospital so from time to time she tells me about the situation. She now has to work in the COVID19 section of the hospital. The hospital is turning more and more sections that were originally meant for other purposes into COVID19 sections due to the high amount of patients. Hospital workers get no PPE unless they have to be in contact with the patients. Wearing self made PPE like bandanas is not allowed.

She regularly talks with COVID19 patients over the phone about their prescriptions. She mentions most of the people she talks with are pretty young. In their mid 30's or under. She spoke with a previously healthy 32 year old woman who went on vacation and came back sick. The woman was crying on the phone because she said she could barely even hold her phone to have said conversation anymore. My mom had to cut the call short because she noticed the woman could barely breathe.

Idk who still needed to hear this but low risk doesn't mean no risk. Be careful, even if you're young.

    +112 new deaths

8,603 total cases in the netherlands now

This is lowkey like a movie how countries are takings turns with the mass cases

imagine thinking they're going to give you a proper burial when they run out of coffins and don't just start digging mass graves for poor people

it's honestly disturbing that they haven't locked down this country fully yet

i'm convinced they want to have a controlled die off at this point

yesterday was the first day it passed over 1,000 new cases in one day and it was the only stat not mentioned on the 6 o clock national news
