shaneI believe in full that Donald Trump will be the next President for the next four years.
The only way that changes is if right-wing media turns on him, or he messes up with the coronavirus in a way SO terrible that even his own delegates won't vote for him again.
His base are the ones most susceptible to it. They tend, for the most part, to be of older age and live in rural areas whose medical facilities more than likely lack the resources necessary to facilitate infected patients.
It’s like this virus was made to kill primarily the old and the ignorant, with various casualties along the way.
This virus, in America, seems to be as partisan as a virus could possibly be.

Feels like this administration is about to give the country as a whole a terminal diagnosis that is, for the most part, avoidable, but they can’t be bothered to do the legwork, or really even consider it.

I thought the Canadian 2k stipend wasn’t universal and only goes to those who lost their jobs
It replaces EI for now (unemployment) so everybody who was already on it or was about to apply will get swtiched to that on April 6th.
Also everybody who is in quarantine, got covid, is taking care of someone in quarantine or with covid, lost income because of covid in anyway, can still be employed but not getting hours and therefore not getting paid right now, they're all eligible for the 2k per month.
So a lot of people can get on CERB.
