how are we being "wreckless" lmao

there are no FFP masks available anywhere. and those aren't exactly 100% protection either

So give yourself a false sense of protection ? Or wear nothing at all. It’s really the same thing

“ventilator supports a patient who is no longer able to maintain their own airways, but sadly there is currently a significant shortage, both in the UK and other countries around the world," Dyson wrote.

Dyson said the company had designed and built an entirely new ventilator, called the "CoVent," since he received a call 10 days ago from UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

This new device can be manufactured quickly, efficiently and at volume," Dyson added, saying that the new ventilator has been designed to "address the specific needs" of coronavirus patients.

A spokesperson for the company, which is best known for its vacuum cleaners and hand dryers, said the ventilators would be ready by early April. Dyson, who has wealth worth $10 billion according to Bloomberg, wrote in his letter that he would also donate 5,000 units to the international effort to tackle the pandemic.

like i said, it's better than wearing nothing. you're def not touching your face while wearing it, ppl are more careful and aware there is a pandemic going on. i have had FFP masks from before, and even though i know it doesn't protect me, i started wearing it a week ago with gloves too, and i see the influence i have on ppl around me just by wearing a mask

it sounds like you're the reckless one to me. there is a psychology to mass conduct that you're ignoring.

ngl im impressed that oklahoma is part of the first half of states on lockdown

    Especially compared to Texas.

I mean, Texas has Dallas, Austin and Houston. The f*** does Oklahoma have?

At least Dallas County (which I’m a part of) seems to be taking it fairy seriously.

I don’t know if Abbott would follow through with Trump if he does try to reopen the country on Easter, he would have to completely backtrack on a lot of things that he’s said and emphasized up until this point.

Can’t wait for Trump to not order any of them and to continue to hold his own states (with the largest individual economies in the entire country) hostage.

I lived in Oklahoma for 4 years. They treated their teachers so badly in that state that when they eventually went on mass exodus the state mandated that essentially any joe schmoe could take their place.
