Every time anybody tries to help American public on a massive scale there are always obstacles put in place. 😒
I was listening on the radio and they referred to social distancing as “socialist distancing” 😳
People really believe if we get back to work it won’t spread worse.
Lmao how tf are they twisting social distancing into being socialism?
imma be that guy that complains about anything but I feel like the company bailouts should be the smallest amount of divvied up, instead of the most
Yeah that's just the logical stand. The thing is that most American politicians aren't working for their citizen but for those who pay em off.
Somehow those businesses who used their profits for stock buybacks which led to the increase in the value of their companies by manipulating the stock and who also used the rest of those profits to increase their salaries and major stockholders' ROI, expect the government, aka taxpayers' money, to bail em out from the problem to put themselves into by not saving up.
As I said before, tech companies out here literally have billions in cash available at any time but somehow every other sector spends all its money on buybacks and executives. And which businesses have helped the most through this crisis too? Tech companies. Coincidentally, NASDAQ has been doing the best out of all markets right now.
I say give the most to tech companies for being responsible and rewarding them and instead give nothing to everybody who tried to take advantage of the system. Let them go bankrupt.

That’s conservative south for you
Reminder that airlines spent 96% of their cashflow on buybacks within the last 10 years, the whole 2010s decade. Now they are asking for over 50B.
Reminder that FOREIGN businesses that are American but decided to locate their offices overseas to save on taxes, thus taking advantage of the system, are now asking the American government for a bailout.
Mitch is speaking live right now
Just patting themselves on the back for getting it done
Welp, I’m not eligible to receive the money
Don't worry. On the bright side corporations are eventually going to get a fat check for sure
You won't get any of that either but
Is the 1200$ forreal?
Looks like only if you filed for taxes in 2018 and aren't listed as a dependent but it's not certain until tomorrow

Don't you mean in 2019 for 2018? Since we always file for the year that just ended....
But yeah, as you said, don't jump to any conclusion just now. We'll know more in the morning.

No fam, I'm saying filling back in 2019, so last year, for 2018, so 2 years ago. Just a misunderstanding
Obviously they can't ask for the 2019 returns first since the feds and most states if not all have extended the deadlines by 2-3 months.
