The thing is, landlords may seem like huge a******s but they could need that money too, they could still have their mortgage to pay. And all mortgages lead to the same place, banks, who should definitely be able to afford leniency unless they've done the same mistakes as all the corporations that are now begging for help and in which case I 100% support their fall. If you mismanage a business or bank you shouldn't get bailed out.
How come Apple can save some of its profit but airlines can't? Do CEOs really need yearly double digit% increase on their salaries? Do shareholders really need one more yatch? That's terrible management and if they go bankrupt they deserve it. F*** all of them.

I'm not expecting any money from banks. Or anything at all tbh. But they definitely can afford putting a freeze themselves on mortgages and loans, just for a few months. But if the government does it anyway it's the same.
I mean if they do that then landloads are fuked. Even if it’s owned by a holding company or bank, If their capital budgeting isn’t proper they will stilll survive it but a whole lotta ppl will lose their jobs in the process. & a lot of ppl out there living check by check so even with major expenses like rent gone, there will be a point of breaking if this thing lasts that long

I do think Apple is unethical on some fronts but this is factually wrong if you mean in the US. They did use a loophole in Europe to pay very minimal taxes, near 0% but they pay around 18% in America. And technically, they shouldn't have to pay US taxes on foreign profits. That is all up to those foreign countries.
