Morally speaking it comes down to hedonism. People smoke weed, for example. Weed, inheritly, doesnt kill, but it isnt the best thing to do, but it feels good so yknow, pros and cons. Theres a major difference in terms of chicken, dog, and other meat tho. Different animals meat provide different nutrients, come in different quantities, and have different tastes and ways of cooking.

A balanced diet consists of both meat and veggies in my mind. Yes supplements do exist but thats its own beast.
