One of the scariest scenes in Contagion is after the vaccine is being made widely available and people get in line and they let the line know there's only 50 immunizations left for that day and a violent stampede happens.
Yeah, I can see no way this is distributed safely when it gets worse and more widespread, people will get extremely manic and defensive. Which just postpones any real resolution to this all for so long, lots of people may have to die. I should peep that film soon
People still gonna be out in Illinois. In every state. There's just not enough resources to fully enforce these rules.

So we should wait inside till most people got the vaccine and are immune, then we dont even need the vaccine anymore
why is america like this
So we should wait inside till most people got the vaccine and are immune, then we dont even need the vaccine anymore
Staying inside really the only option right now

The working class is out there keeping the country running while the CEO’s are hiding at home contributing nothing to society

Yeah, but i mean.. when there is a vaccine we personally don't have to get it (for example to avoid a stampede), and when the majority of the people been vaccinated the virus will die out coz cant spread then, so then we don't even need it anymore.
Sadly far away tho
When the f*** is China going to step in and give Italy aid? This is a humanitarian crisis right now. Tell your f***ing billionaires to send supplies

Yeah that is a good point. Can’t forget the economic detriments of keeping things like borders closed too long, and deterring intl travel/airline operations/keeping people unable to return to their loved ones or home. I am almost sure things like that will start up sooner, maybe on a limited scale, than say abolishing these arbitrary lockdowns and quarantine.
Like the US and Germany running up the price of a possible vaccine? Oh yeah, millions are going to get f***ed over.
the owner of the german lab already said they would make it available for cheap
thats also why he refused the american offer
Pretty much. They’ve already been prepping for that bullshit which is sad. Always tryna make a buck
im glad they were prepared for situations like this
The working class is out there keeping the country running while the CEO’s are hiding at home contributing nothing to society
sounds like america throughout all of history lol

I hope this ends up being the case. We reeeeaaaallly need to be looking out for each other.
Even on an individual level, it's more important than ever to know your neighbors rn. Sure we're supposed to be social distancing but if you really needed something and you were tight with someone 200 feet away that could help you out, that's invaluable.
Dude went from a ktt weirdo to twitter personality
the growth
imagine how many twitter celebs we would've produced if more guys like him had enough humanity to try the platform
