All that's s***s great but Outkast makes them look very low-effort and basic. But I've done enough glazing for one day if y'all don't agree it's fine.
I don't listen to Tyler so not sure what that means.

Dungeon Family are great but this just sounds wrong. whats low effort about an album like Paper Trail. whats low effort about Ludacris, one of the most charismatic dudes in rap, releasing an album independently and then dropping several amazing projects back to back on major labels. !maybe! not all of these artists have discographies as tight knit but is that really on them if they wanna make music and that other guy doesnt. in the long run it now makes him look worse because hes rich and cant get over himself. at least the above mentioned excelled at other stuff like acting and comedy
You asking this makes me think you feel OutKast did nothing lol why even ask this
and you saying that makes me think you’re unable to compare OutKast to any other certified greats/legends and therefore are comfortable making statements like “i bet you do because you accept the bare minimum”

Spottieottiedopalicious is my favorite cut of theirs
No problem with that being your personal favorite. they honed their craft way beyond what they made when they were teenagers though. Made a discography who's quantum leap progressions ranks with the best in any genre or era. On a plateau their peers couldn't even imagine approaching for raw creativity, genre bending production, wildly experimental with iconic pop hooks at the same time, infinitely fascinating poetry. See you made me glaze again.

Ludacris is great but I've never had to listen to listen to one of his songs more than a couple times to feel like I understand it. I like albums I can listen to a million times and still find them mysterious and fascinating.
Future just had 3 #1 albums in the same year, the first artists to ever do this solo in history
each album encapsulating 3 types of sounds he’s already dropped classic projects with and even venturing into the 80s wave that’s popping rn
a decade+ into the mainstream
and you tryna tell me I can’t talk about this nigga next to OutKast?
and then can’t even clearly tell me why…cause I shouldn’t even have to ask why I can’t? huh?
niggas be legends, but we starting to treat 90s/2000s rap legends like they Jordan or something lmfao

I do, why not? Even then you ARE assuming that. I never said it wasn't good. Wassup with you?

Future > OutKast to me
Future > OutKast to me
that’s a hot take! but I bet you got solid reasoning for it lmfao
not to me personally, but I’m not bout to disrespect Future by calling him bare minimum
i think Future has a hit or solid project for every year since 2011

ironic considering that outkast spell out what each of their albums is about pretty much on every album

I grew up on Future’s music and saw his run in real time so I’m partial to him over OutKast
also something i had on my mind for ages just never said it because people probably dont wanna think about it.. outkast wasnt just these two dudes doing it all by themselves. their circumstances are absolutely exceptional due to infrastructure that dungeon family provided. thats a serious leg up when you put it against other people who probably had to make do with a beat pack and some studio time. just something ive been thinking about some time ago

fully agree it takes a miracle off circumstance for any artist to reach the heights they did. weren't they often self producing under the pseudonym Earthtone III too though? with Mr Dj

oh trust me twin, I had them birds chirping early too! we here

I saw both. still remember hearing Future for the first time with Push on Pain like
I still remember seeing the music video for Atliens when it came out like

That's your assumption though. What are you even doing bruh? Deadass I didn't say anything wrong 😂 I just really love and appreciate OutKast. Never said anything against whoever you believe I'm referencing.
To go back to the OG subjects I grew up on TIP and Future brought so much more attention to Atlanta I would never try to take away.
I also said atlanta has plenty of talent but I guess that don't matter.
