I feel like the jarring jump from their style of control -> AW2 -> Control Resonant is about what we can expect as far as what Intergalactic will be like coming off TLOU2

This could be the one man.

Probably not jumping in until the physical releases in October though since I’m gonna be juggling Fire Emblem and Silent Hill Townfall.

Hell, I’ll probably still be playing the former by the time Control’s physical drops.

Crazy part is I think Geoff would look goofy if he made gta vi eligible with it coming out 2 weeks before game awards so it should go to a game before cutoff

I feel like you kind of have to though, it’d just be weird otherwise.

Would be a lot of confusion from people tuning in if GTA was completely absent.

I could be wrong but I feel like Parris has been saying this for a few weeks already, like before I thought review codes were sent out. Can't imagine what he's talking about if it's not Resonant though.

“Control Resonant reverses the roles of the original: this time, Dylan searches for Jesse in a Manhattan overtaken by the Hiss, while facing the Resonants. The shooting is replaced by frantic melee combat reminiscent of Devil May Cry, while still preserving the unsettling essence that makes Control so unique. The narrative takes a while to get going and can feel repetitive at first, but the impressive atmosphere, entertaining combat mechanics, and solid technical performance ultimately hold the experience together.”

    80/100

    Same website gave AW2 7.6/10

Multiple reviewers hinting it’s a monster

Review scores might make me pull the trigger on the Digital Deluxe Edition for PS5
