Man truly lived a tragic life these last few years. Hope he’s in a better place now.
man i cant believe it
Feel like it's just now sinking in for me, I was in denial for a while. DOOM was one of those figures you don't even consider mortal, s***s f***ing weird for me
Ngl this feels like when Prince died. Somebody that's just been around forever.. just gone.

This.
It’s a real tragedy for him to be gone at the age of 49 but man, when I go back and listen to the music, the legacy is there. Hard to explain but I’m sad and satisfied all at once. There’s no arguments or overrating to be had,we lost a legend.

Promo from FlyLo about the livestream later tonight. Will there be a separate thread for it or will it be in here too?
Spending the last 12 minutes of 2020 alone in my room, Mmm... Food vinyl spinning right behind me
a truly unique artist. real originality. first time i ever heard him was on the boondocks. they played like 3 songs in one episode and i was hooked.
I remember when I first discovered MF DOOM it was back in 2006 or 2007 I was looking up these best hip hop albums of etc. year lists on amazon and all these lists had MF DOOM albums on it so I clicked on them the first one was Madvillany I read all the reviews on it and thought to download the whole albums in mp3s from LimeWire or whatever program I used at that time I got all the mp3s and listened to it and didn't know what to think of the songs because his style was so different from what I was listening to at that time but I kept playing it over and over till one day it clicked for me and was blown away by his metaphors, delivery, voice and that weird unorthodox production from Madlib and since then I was a fan for life. RIP to one of the best lyricist ever to grace the mic in hip hop.
This f***ing sucks man
