What a trash way to close this year
Damn who she related to
I love that song
I think she meant she looked at doom like a big brother. She said she was Doom Attorney which is wild. I ain’t ever heard a attorney sang like that on a record
it'd be really nice, but kanye rarely tweets anymore when he's working on an album.
plus, I don't think they were on very good terms since 2018
Think it just depends on whenever he’s around and public
Cus Nipsey and Ye never were really close and Nipsey was the same during that year but Ye still showed love through Sunday Service.
Hope he does tho
“You may go”
He said “you should been say so”
Tipped him in cash, an Argentinian peso
Nigga has some of the funniest bars ever
I think she meant she looked at doom like a big brother. She said she was Doom Attorney which is wild. I ain’t ever heard a attorney sang like that on a record
Wooowwww
Man every time I hear a DOOM story I’m like “Wow what a legend”
His life story so real lol
Look like a black wookie when he let his beard grow
Weirdo, brown-skinned'd, always kept his hair low
Rumor has it it's a S-Curl accident
DOOM was always known to keep the best girls' backs bent
it must've been 2015/2016 when I was watching youtube and heard a sick instrumental. I looked into it and found a version with 2 artists rapping on it, the song was books of war. The rest is just me slowly listening to his discography, it really intrigued me that he would use cartoon samples.
rip doom
Viktor the director flip a script like Rob Reiner
The way a lotta dudes rhyme their name should be "knob shiner"
I think she meant she looked at doom like a big brother. She said she was Doom Attorney which is wild. I ain’t ever heard a attorney sang like that on a record
That's crazy - last time I went out before lockdown in March, I was in a sake bar in London and got the owner to play Eye, think I made a few new DOOM fans that night, sigh
This hit me very hard.
I remember back in the late 2000's, aside from Wayne/Kanye, I was heavily into Doom and Lupe's music.
I used to listen to some of the more popular songs of off OD, Madvillainy, Dangerdoom, and MM...Food specifically. I overlooked Vaudeville at the time even though it became my 2nd favorite album of his.
What I loved most about Doom was that he literally mastered the art of creating concept albums and songs. MM..Food is straight up genius in just the whole idea of playing off of food puns and mixing it in with real life and the rap game.
Also, Doom's music never had one style. Niggas act like he's all boom bap but Vaudeville, Dangerdoom, and JJ Doom alone are proof that he can rap over any style of production and make it work since none of them have boom bap production.
He inspired tons of artists while staying lowkey and not chasing clout. Also, his lyrics contain a lot of crazy references and wordplay. Sometimes, I'll pick up on certain lines and think "Holy s***...I just caught that." Which is why I'm not surprised Lupe and Earl draws influence from him since their lyrics often do the same thing.
RIP to the Supervillain.
