Which one's yall agree and disagree with?
Agree: One liners, Summer Music, "Nonstop", Balance, the Dad stuff, and the female R&B samples would be cool too
Disagree: Everything else
I agree with a decent amount of these. On the topic of mature and emotional Drake, I think this album will be the spiritual successor of NTWS.
Agree with all the topics except "dad Drake". Give me one track about the kid and I'm good.
Disagree with most of the things written in the actual paragraphs.
It seems like they just described a Drake album and said "but make it for adults".
Album coming this summer
Complex: MAKE A SUMMER ALBUM
Agree: Summer music, "Nonstop", YES A CONCISE TRACKLIST, balance of course
Disagree: Young Money reunion (most of them fell off hard, but yes to a Weezy ft)

yeah all of these critics/media outlets contradict themselves all the time

He does most of the s*** they said they want on every project.
Also, I'm a mature 23 year old but I'm not tryna hear 4:44 from a 33 year old. Maybe tone down on the social media bars but the love and lifestyle stuff is what I enjoy.
Drake can make his super serious, mature project in his 40s

Plus he can tackle mature content without making his 4:44 (Too Much, March 14, 30 for 30, and other tracks )

agree with everything you said, they complain about his lifestyle but I bet he doesnt lmao
he's gonna talk his s*** on the introspective tracks and on the "fun" tracks he's gonna talk about the glamorous lifestyle, and I'm definitely cool with that

That's my point. He been doing this s*** bro!
You know these people listen to the hits, look for controversy, and energy. If one of these pieces are missing from a Drake song, then they write it off as "filler" and never hear it again. When in fact, songs like Is There More never get mentioned because it's low energy and no controversy. But the second verse is full of gems and a deep dive into his mind.
There's literally a thread on here about Losses being boring...
I don't get the 'talk about your son' people.
Low-key think it's weird and what does that do for you? And what should he say about his kid, that isn't captured on March 14?

Yeah but will people ever acknowledge these tracks? There are multiple on every project but they don't get mentioned because the hits are there.
I know this isn’t an album wish thread but I’d love to hear drake stay with the war/Greece sound, something about Greece just sounds like some 007 s*** and I’d love a 007 sounding album if that makes sense
Lots of strings, dark anthems, cery expensive sounding like Watch the Throne
Also would love to see something with a dark Houston sounding beat and an r&b sampled hook
I also don't get "Mature relationships" people. I hate the fact that people are still saying s*** like this in 2020. Assuming you aren't already in a committed relationship.
Remember when they 'Hotline Bling is misogynistic' "think pieces' were coming out. The sentiment is real, it's not dressed up. And EVERYONE can relate.
I think everyone gets that jealous feeling of seeing an exlover going out and having fun w/o you. But that's not "mature"

the sad truth about his best tracks

Well I guess we'll be the one's to enjoy them until they go viral after he retires or something
Surprisingly good article from complex. Not much I have issue with on here. Bottom line I just hope that he puts the album out that he wants to put out, and doesn’t just comply to what others are requesting of him

Facts, he seems really happy about the album too
