arrd bet, im trynna gain a sense of if theyre actually gonna transition to full in person or if its all just to keep the students at bay-- being hella skeptical bc all my professors online been repeating the same rhetoric about hm zoom sucks and seeing if we actually make it to in person this semester so much so that it sounds like they dont even believe it.
my transition takes place the week after next, if s*** changes for yall this week plz lmk

Gotchu. I think schools are rlly not tryna lose any more money and as cynical as it is, they care more about the money then student health
But at this point, if colleges dont go in person now then who knows if it ever will again seeing as covid is def not going away
I thought it was old on college terms
Most freshman are 18/19 you'd be chillin lol

Shoulda said 20 cause I turn 20 this year but I’m boutta go once I get my whip

lmfao u really not too wrong tho- at this point u better off specializing and learning a skill that you can profit off of and later consider college ONLY if it can add value to your skillset or pay-scale.

Rite. im friends with a two Profs and they had been letting me know how serious it was getting on their side as employees, that OSHA s*** kinda ultimately shook things up this month; but before, once it was revealed to me that faculty had until jan 2022 to meet the vaccination requirement (while the deadline for students was in Sept 2021) -- it became blatantly clear that the university is more lenient with its capital than consumers. mainly bc us consumers will complain about everything but still will attend university-- their workers on the other hand dont have to put up with s*** and are protected by hella laws
meanwhile my homies back home who teach grade school have been enjoying the time off, and i dont blame them really; its alot of glorified babysitting in that realm as opposed to this college that im paying out the ass for

i didn't go to college until i was 23, you'll be fine.
