f***ing hate the water:beans ratio on the french press, absorbs so much water i either end up overcompensating and getting watery coffee or not using enough water and getting a small cup thats too bitter

also picked up a dark roast that i hate, damn its been a rough month for coffee

go to a local coffee roaster if you have any in your area

Been on the cold brew wave lately and I love it.

Put like 3 scoops of some cheap s*** like maxwell house in a mason jar with water overnight. Then i just filter it and drink it with oat milk at work the next day.

Need to level up and get some better coffee grounds tho

Tried AeroPress for the first time yesterday and it’s way better than pour over.

Ahh I see. I don’t have the tastebuds to tell the difference tbh! I can tell if it’s light or dark roast ofc, but as far as tasting the actual flavoring in the black coffee like the hint of cherries or or aroma or w/e i can’t do it. I only get the exotic stuff if I’m trying to get a better caffeine high lol

There’s a website drink trade that send you different coffee based on the taste profile and different brewing option you chose, I’d look on there and see the options and just order from the actual maker of the coffee because it’ll be cheaper that way and you don’t know if you’re going to be able to tell the difference yet anyway. That’s if you have a grinder order whole beans if not I think most will grind it for you but some places especially with espresso grind get it wrong they do it way too fine for espresso.

I have a company near where I actually live that makes different decent coffee blends throughout the year so I just order from them and it gets to me the next day.

Yes, and yes to me it does. I think most people that grind their own will answer yes to this.

Grinders aren’t too expensive tbh. My first one was the OXO Grinder which I think is like $99, there’s even cheaper ones as well there’s also hand grinders which I think can also be cheaper.
