Think the issue is with the maps for them. Last year, priestahh and skyz were up and down in the respawn modes but the 2 smgs were so strong they could control the pace. But now the maps are all heavy ars maps which means your elite smg (hydra) barely runs an smg anymore

The heavy ar maps, the s*** spawns and s*** hard point locations makes the cdl not fun to watch tbh

and that’s a good point. most SMG players are struggling due to the maps and the best ones are playing flex roles. i read last week that Huke is the only player in the league running an SMG over 60% of the time.
