Not bad music by any means, but Coachella was never even like this, it only shifted in this weird direction in the mid 10s, all of the hipsters in my school’s favorite indie, electronic, and experimental acts were performing when I first heard of it in 2009. well yeah ofc it went mainstream, it didn't suddenly become popular cause of IG hipsters that was one reason but music festivals have gotten more popular in general and Coachella became the flagship for Golden Voice
