adore them, but their show has been the same for the past 6 years, and has honestly gotten worse since the new album dropped. Their visuals used to be way trippier and the flow of the set was better too
no idea he played that fest
thats tight tho
It wasn’t even the main fest they’ve got there lmao they did an electronic series at the local museum and it was him, Hyd, Jlin, and Arca
It felt like not a soul attending was actually from Arkansas and it was all people who made the drive from other states for the quality of the lineup tbh

ima be dead honest as a kevin parker follower since i was 15 the slow rush bummed me out i didnt see much growth in the sound and it kind of turned me off but it still had some great songs but nothing in comparison to currents
What modern pop punk you guys even listen to? Jeff Rosenstock like the only one I'm checking for

youve got to be f***ing kidding me
they got some of the more obscure electronic acts in f***ing arkansas; im sick. getting any of them to come to the midwest (outside of chicago) is borderline impossible

I’m not particularly tapped in but my homie who loves that scene put me on to Meet Me At The Altar

idk if you can classify it as pop punk but i really like the band northstar
northstar is basically unheard of but listen to their album polyanna on spotify or something
song is full of those same type of vibes that you are looking for

wholeheartedly agree. Saw them twice in 2016 at bonnaroo & berkley greek theatre...was phenomenal. Saw them again last year and it was just ok
