Thank you
First time my people been represented like that
lol I watch a little bit at least of every set I am not a only give people I know a chance person when I can look at all streams so fast. Will peek more at his music or watch more of his set on replay
Bad Bunny’s set is still the best of the fest but Calvin was the most fun to see
Didn't watch. Did Diljit perform Smile or nah?
Don't want to waste my time with a replay if he didn't
Fell asleep to Nia Archives, waking up to Nia Archives
This doesn’t bode well for me making it to Frank’s set tonight though lmao
Diljit was insane my god man. I know there was mad time conflicts then (chose him over the first half of Rosalia) but he was a great act
Was amazing to see how many Indians/South Asians showed up
Bad Bunny’s set is still the best of the fest but Calvin was the most fun to see
Only if post malones guitar worked
Mornin yall. Day 2 breakdown is as follows
Opened once again in the Sonora for Scowl. Pretty hyped hardcore group from Cali so there was a lively crowd for 1pm and just a good way to kick the day off.
AG Club was even more hyped up for their 2pm Mojave set and they were fantastic. Great stage presence and no backing track led to a very enjoyable new-gen rap show.
Flo Milli in the Sahara was next and she pulled in a huge crowd considering how early she was and she deserved it. Once again minimal backing tracks and she sounded great. She ran through her 30 minutes worth of hits with no filler and every bad b**** on the planet was in the crowd. Also Beef is now her song, go argue with a wall.
Had a fire Chicken Parm sandwich in the beer garden and watched Kenny Beats do the same s*** he always does for a few minutes.
Dinner Party had the highest concentration of musical talent for one stage and they flexed it. Great solos and a wonderful jazz showcase. Freeze Tag was a memorable song for the day.
Charli did her thing. Fun show but I've seen her and it was a hot main stage show so energy was low in the crowd. I had a good time tho so f*** em
Moved back and watched Rosalia from afar for a few minutes so we could leave early to catch the main event...
Jai Paul was magical. The crowd was buzzing the whole time and the run of last 3 songs were peak live music. He did his live show like he did his first song, already way ahead of the curve. Band sounded fantastic and his vocals were spot on. He roamed the stage like the mythical recluse he is as the crowd lost its mind at every musical twist and turn. I'm glad it got streamed so there's footage of that historical show.
Ran to Boygenius for the last few songs and they crushed it. Salt In The Wound was another top tier song for the weekend.
After was about 3 hours of stage hopping. Saw some Blackpink which was dope. They beat the s*** out of the "not headliner worthy" allegations. Eric Prydz was underwhelming in my opinion. His music bores me and the visuals really weren't all that. NIA Archives was a fun Jungle dance party and I like how they had her in the Sonora at that time slot. Chromeo was like they always are. Cheesy dancey fun and La Roux came out and sang Bulletproof which was a fun Easter egg. Saw 10 minutes of Keinemusik which was decent. I just wanted to check out a busy Yuma set because I never make it to that stage. Walked by Calvin and the crowd looked like the DMX show and he hadn't even started, so I went back to camp and had pizza instead.
All in all another 10/10 day, once again Coachella showed that it's on a whole different level than every other US festival
