He's right about pharrell holding them back. I think any other producer wouldve made this a 10/10 truly
Not sure how anyone can come to this conclusion tbh, the production is damn near flawless, lots of variety and P knows exactly what works for them.

Hard to believe anyone truly feels this way.
Amazing album mane
Love it
You?
I think it’s good.. We grew up with the Clipse so it’s hard to compare it to the first two classics. Tbh the beats didn’t grab me but neither did the last Pusha joint so maybe it’s a grower.
As a hip hop moment I love that it’s getting so much love, we’re talking about guys in their 50’s here. And they brought out Stove God. He should have dropped a verse !
No active producer in the world could've dealt with these songs better than pharrell
That’s not a high standard to have
this line hit so hard
all the homage paid in this album rather it be verses, lines, flows, references. this really is a love letter to hip hop culture and helps push this album to greatness
me & some of the homies ive listened to it with all got emotional a few times over it even on repeat listens
we really got a new clipse album and it was monumental
Im from Ohio on the southern border and have a lot of family in VA, spent a lot of time travelling and trafficking like push in my youth, so when they made it, it felt like we all made it because a podunk region got put on the map. To watch everything unfold thus far has been a pleasure. It feels full circle, god bless hip hop.

Where they are now, this is perfect for them. I didn’t expect a Chinese New Year or Grindin type s***
Yeah, lowkey wished Stove God had a verse. The hook is still dope af
50 year old rappers doing better than the young rappers
The Clipse are still popping in 2025. That’s crazy with all the label issues they have dealt with in the past
Clipse is a 6 but every single trap/mumble album that all sound the same gets an automatic 7

Crazy how different people listen to these beats.
I’m definitely underwhelmed at some of these beats
Ace Trumpets > All Things Considered

Only lacklustre beat for me was All Things Considered.

There are definitely some mid beats on there but that was expected from Pharrell
only mid beat for me is So Far Ahead, drums are weak as hell and that synth is just a slowed down one from Ace Trumpets, feels lazy. I do like the hook on it though.
so we ranking this above Lord Willin or
Probably and I had that s*** when it came out
it's crazy how chains & whips somehow sounds better than ever years later after a hundred plays
