There are multiple songs off this album stuck in my head since my first listen yesterday morning. Like I’m schizo or sumn. And how tf did they get Stevie wonder on this album?

Exactly and it dominated everything around it when it comes to impact in a time where music is struggling, Kendrick AOTY and Clipse RAOTY would be great for rap music and makes sense

I don’t think it’s flawless, but I think it’s an excellent album and an album that’ll age like wine.

Some of the users on here giving it 6/10s and saying half the beats suck are def getting side eyed

Feel like it’s an album where it’s nothing WRONG with it but anyone could find pieces of it that you might not f*** wit as much.

Saying the beats suck is ridiculous, they kept it hip hop and Clipse sound.

They modernized the Clipse “Dopeboy” sound

I feel like Pharrell despite being an MVP of the album when it came to beats, kind of overstayed his welcome vocally. Some of the hooks from him were a little awkward from the jump.

Like “All Things Considered” for example. Beat is fire, and Clipse does their thing. But P’s heavily autotuned hook just sounds off putting.

The best P moment for me was when he rapped on EBITDA. Him tapping in Skateboard P for a quick 8 bar was a treat.

Both TPAB and GNX are both deserving of the main AOTY award, but that year's AOTY was definitely a high class robbery.
