Have you ever heard the music ESPN plays during "we'll be right back after this"? Like WIN WIN WIN WIN by Jay Rock? You can hear music and know that it'll be palatable to the masses and used in spaces like sports game soundtracks, commercials/commercial breaks, and movie soundtracks. Music made to be licensed. This turn in their sound embodies this niche (a wide one tbf) when their other music, solo or together, didn't really do that. It's not a "reduction" to point that out, this is a music forum where most people's posts are like 2 sentences, don't jump to conclusions. I could say that your response lets me know about your understanding of music as well. Coming from a genuine clipse fans' perspective
