Very skeptical about I Play Rocky but hopefully it turns out good
When Disney reveals the Doomsday trailer today but it’ll likely be a Cinemacon exclusive, and we won’t actually get to see it with our own eyes for another week or two .
So instead we’ll have to just read the trailer descriptions on Twitter
Maybe I’m just being a hopeful f***ing idiot but I would be shocked if the trailer didn’t drop before Tuesday.
wish they streamed ts like E3 would be hype asf
that would be so dope.
this presentation is mainly for theaters right? but I feel like this could get the fans hype too

honestly dont know who cinemacon is for but the format is so familiar to E3 that it made me think about it
I could really see them waiting til Mando to show the trailer. That needs every bit of help it can get. Announce that the trailer is premiering in front of that movie after you show the attendants
Drawback is people will remember what happens and write up descriptions, so do you want people to set the scene for the most important movie they’ve made since A1? Idk.

Disney needs to stream D23 officially.

CinemaCon is for theater owners and distributors. It’s basically studios just marketing their films releasing within the next year so exhibitors get a good idea of what to prioritize at their venues.
E3 is closer to Comic-Con in that it’s for fans, but movies are only a small part of Comic-Con.
There really isn’t a cinema equivalent of an E3/Comic-Con where it’s an event that’s to promote upcoming film releases that’s solely for the fans

I think there will be 100% be footage or a trailer of some sort shown today, but I’m not too sold on whether it’s gonna be released publicly or not. Mando might be the play like you said
Notice how WB focused on their s*** meanwhile Ellison is talking about what they’re going to do with WB
sidenote: has cinemacon always been a thing because I feel like only in the past like two years i've been hearing about it

It has but it’s only been recent that it’s been publicized to this degree.
It’s always been around for studios to see their product to theaters
