It aged better than Lollipop imho.
But A Milli is an impressive accomplishment no matter how you feel about it.
For a straight freestyle song with no hook and nothing but bars to make it to the top 5 on Billboard and get tons of radio play was a very insane feat back then.
Imagine if Backseat Freestyle and 5 AM in Toronto were competing with pop hits when they dropped.
We can nitpick certain lines and all but you can't discredit A Milli's impact.
I kind of agree, I don't play it anywhere near as much as I used to. Although to be fair I did overplay tf out of it along with the remixes/freestyles
What's funny too is that actual lyricists in hip hop praise Wayne and were cosigning him being the "best rapper alive" in 08.
It's well documented too.
I mean Carter ii is magnum opus but a milli is classic maybe he talking about the lyrics being “problematic”
I like chuck but sometimes he talks too much
Guarantee you play it and people gonna be rapping bar for bar though
Right.
