Nolan must be super pleased today and also in regard of a recent merger that Universal knocked on that door back in 2021.
I think I’m gonna go visit my brother the weekend this is out and hit the 70mm IMAX near Atlanta
They only have one show a day as of now so I’m gonna hop on the tickets for the others when they go up
Nolan's never once premiered his movie at a festival IIRC.
Not sure that the reason is that the film is "not ready" lol

the first 3 films that he directed all premiered at different film festivals though he stopped premiering his films starting with Batman Begins (though he was at Cannes in 2018 to premiere the "unrestored" 70mm print of 2001 A Space Odyssey)
speaking of 70mm, im hoping that theaters will screen 70mm IMAX prints for the films that had prints created. im still pissed that i never got a ticket for the re-release of Interstellar smh

imax 70mm prints for the dark knight trilogy, inception, interstellar, dunkirk, tenet, and oppenheimer exist, but who knows how many of those prints exist for the trilogy or inception even exist anymore

Matt Damon is hosting SNL the week that (stereotypically) Nolan's third trailers drop. So expect the next (ie. main) trailer to be around then for sure.
