You nerds love denying the truth lol Nolan saved the theatre experience if you don’t accept that you don’t accept your reality
He slammed down the lob that No Way Home threw him
When that yout got sliced from above and they had to cover his mouth quickly
That's when I was in
Damon even swipes the blood off it before they pull it back out

Wild detail, need to rewatch
I thought that ss that was floating around Twitter of the Chad helmet was supposed to be Odysseus. I was iffy on it then but now that I know it's an antagonist it's dope as hell

id disagree on spiderman, hell i'd give that more to Avengers infinity war before that
nolan saved the theatre experience far before no way home was even thought of. The dark knight being the first blockbuster film to use heavy IMAX set a domino effect that has resulted in a dying industry being revitalized. Nolans usage of IMAX lead to way more innovations making the recording process far more efficient. the camera was used for mainly wildlife stuff, but now they've finally made it portable enough to film an entire movie with. Fast forward 15 years and the entire industry is leaning to premium format movies, a huge reason why the in theatre experience has boomed post pandemic. With directors like Denis and Ryan and even the safdies following suit, the experience of seeing something in 70mm, Imax, or any other premium format opposed to streaming is more attractive than ever.
Oppenheimer imo was the nail in the coffin, with 40+ min of IMAX footage it was almost sacrilegious to not see it in theatres. and if everything goes according to plan. The Odyssey (which is filmed entirely in IMAX) in 70mm IMAX may be the greatest in theatre experience of all time, eclipsing what Avatar felt like innovation wise, while also having an amazing story.
i live in nyc though and i know the majority of the world doesn't have true 70mm imax but like point still stands even if u go watch it on liemax

It's not an antagonist. Agamemnon is not an antagonist. He's the king over Odysseus

not really an antagonist, hes the leader of the army
Gotta deal with 6 more months of seeing people online saying
“Well actuallyyy that armor material wasn’t used until 1600 BC, so this is actually extremely historically inaccurate!”
Like do people really care that much, or are they just nitpicking

in the 00's we got plagued by this disease that made everything have to be realistic and it's killing the idea of movies in general

it's low-key the cool thing to hate on Nolan now (and it's been that way for a while). More engagement farmers are going to echo the same criticisms. They've eclipsed Nolan fanboys in annoyance for a while now.
Same people were saying Nolan was going to make a pro-bomb movie before Oppenheimer came out and were saying the nudity was unnecessary after it came out (when it's thematically very important lmfao)

I’m not mad about it or anything, but it would have been hard af to see Agamemnon pull up decked out in this
