ThomForkIt's because those other movies aren't shot with IMAX film. So it like...doesn't matter.
IMAX film is 16K resolution vs their lame digital IMAX cameras. Trivializing the IMAX name.

Nah, they were pretty open about it not being that. Especially on Sinners when half the schtick is the ultra wide to ultra open ratio changes.

Nah, no movie looks better and more beautiful clarity wise than a movie shot using IMAX film cameras.
If you can't see it on a theater displaying that resolution, I get the frustration obviously, but there's a reason his movies look 20 times better than just about any other contemporary releases.

Doesn’t necessarily change his other point. It’s pretty inaccessible for the average filmgoer by no fault of their own
You would think with the IMAX boom and his emphasis on filming in it he (or whoever controls that) would also take some interest in expanding locations that support the format
