BigSkinny· editedLet me start with my experience first. The two guys beside kept whispering throwing the dune trailer (no preview unfortunately I was holding out remote hope). I was a little worried about their whispering. They kept it up a little through the first bit. Then they shut the hell up at the Polyphemus scene. Secondly and more annoyingly, this guy about four rows to my right kept leaning forward every 2 minutes. The disturbance to my peripheral vision was destroying my immersion. He finally settled down during the Scylla and carbydis scene.
The opening sequence of the horse and Sinon was great. I can’t do a scene by scene breakdown in order and that’d be too much so I’ll go by Acts and themes. Act I I can understand how people felt it was weak. It doesnt orient the viewer from the jump. I don’t mind it at all but I can see why it would bother people. Anne Hathaway already acting her ass off.
