Genuine question here. I'm curious to know how do you guys reconcile with the fact that you thank God for blessing you with various positive things but at the same time God can apparently give and take whenever he wants? Like if a woman manages to get through a difficult pregnancy that put her life at risk, you would thank God that she survived right? But if she ends up dying a month after the pregnancy due to complications with the birth and people say "it was part of God's plan", how do you accept and feel comfortable with that?
we believe that God works everything for good(Romans 8:28) humans don't have a full view of the universe. that's why Faith is so important
I was studying the ''Jesus Teaches Nicodemus'' part of the New Testament and I thought of how being born again isnt just a switch that you can turn off and on whenever you ''feel like it'' but instead it is the gift of baptism.
Notice how Jesus speaks of ''Spirit and water''.
Getting baptized isnt just a tradition, but it's a gift of life passed down to us from generation to generation with its beginning all the way back when Christ himself was baptized by John The Baptist
here's what I was reading for reference...
This is a thread for followers of Jesus Christ to discuss their faith and have a place to talk with other Christians or for anyone that may have questions regarding Christianity in general. All are welcome. Quote me to be added to OP!

Need to quit p***
This gonna sound crazy but as long as you don’t indulge in the negative aspects of p***, it isn’t a huge sin.

sin is sin. doesn't matter the extent

Yes but obviously the lord views things like watching p*** in a different manner than acts like murder.

You think using condoms Is sacrilege?

True but we should strive to kill all our sins not just the big ones

It’s cheating the world out of procreation, the true meaning of sex. Therefore it’s a sin according to some hardline Christians

there's people who can't have children. doesn't mean its a sin for them to have s**

Some people think it is I’ve seen this argument played out in orthodox and catholic circles. If you aren’t having s***to procreate you’re sinning, pleasure is secondary

nah that's nonsense. feel like one of the apostles would have said something about in in the NT

I don't think that last bullet and the first bullet are valid points for Christian Morals preventing adultery with masturbating to p*** is literally just commiting sexual immorality a sin to cover up another sin lust
You think using condoms Is sacrilege?
imo condoms arent sacrilegious if you want to have s***with your PARTNER and arent exploiting condoms in order to have premarital s***I think you're ok

Yeah you’re right bro. I think I was just trying to validate my p*** usage tbh
its something I need to work on, but I still don’t feel that the Lord views the act of watching p*** as a really serious sin.
As a Christian, what are y’all thoughts on homosexuality? Only asking because I realize this is one thing that we’re very split on in the community.
