@Giannis So as stated in john 3:16 anybody who believes in Christ will be saved. Yes salvation is to the jew first and then the gentile (Romans 1:16) but gentiles aren't excluded from the plan of salvation.

Paul was referring to the lost Israelites as Gentiles. That’s in the aprocrypha

Never read the apocrypha before, gonna have to check it out. You think that the ancient Romans were Jews?

For sure, will actually post the scriptures but it’s the entire books of Maccabees. It explains how the Greeks became involved and everything. The abomination of desolation is in there as well. From the Abomination of desolation we get what we call Hanukkah or in the Bible Feast of Dedication.

The ancient Romans were known as Edomites or Iduemians. They destroyed Jerusalem which Jesus prophecied that in Luke 21:22-24 I believe. This a reference from Ezekiel 36:5

    Flee to the mountains etc

In a way also it will explain why we call Jesus, Jesus. It’s really amazing

Not a Christian (not religious at all). Just curious what makes y’all so sure it’s real?

Please avoid preaching btw I know the Bible in & out so quoting scripture isn’t going to do much for me.

Also this isn’t negative or condescending in any way 👍🏼 Most of my family would say they are Christian & I have no issue with it.

That’s a lot of words to basically say very little fam. Not believing in a god is a perfectly viable position philosophically. We can just disagree there.

You ignored/avoided my question though. Why do you believe in Christianity? You could’ve picked a million different religions to choose from (even a different type of Christianity whether Protestant, Baptist, Catholic, etc) & you most likely wouldn't be a Christian had you been born elsewhere.

Haven’t been 2 church in 6 months. Honestly, God is making my life much better since leaving it. Lust, sin, vices have been removed. Fasting weekly, praying more and also studying more. Amazing, been more reliant on God than anything. Keep the Sabbath. Even though so far I’m alone in this walk, this pathway is clear and as bright as day.

God deals with prophecies. It shall come to pass. That’s what validates the Bible. The wisdom he passed down to Jacob. It’s everlasting. This is already predestined, he chose us from the womb, His understanding he gives His people as an embryo.

Thank God for the path I’ve walked down, it’s similar to Jonahs.

It’s amazing, realize I don’t like thinking carnally anymore. The New Creature is truly a thing!

The Bible hasn’t predicted anything that has happened fam.

I think it’s super cool that this type of stuff gives you or anybody else meaning, a happier life, and hopefully makes you a better person (there are great values taught in parts of the Bible) I’m just curious as to what “confirms” it to you (although I think that’s an impossible question to answer to be fair) other than ultimately just “faith”.

Everything has to have a cause,God is the primary cause of the universe. If you ask where God came from, God has always existed since he is outside of the bonds of time and space.

That sounds like cool fanfiction but that’s not a logical reason to pick a specific religion. Just about all of them fit the description you just gave.
